This review is from: Adrian Tomine: New York Sketches 2004 (Paperback)
This is a nice glimpse at Adrian Tomine's sketchbook. It's not a full comic. Just a few dozen colored drawings of people that he's seen around the city, with notations about their mannerisms or the environment that he made the drawing.
It's not a traditionally bound book. It's accordian folded so you can cut out the ones that you like, and put them on the wall or uh ... hang from your rear view mirror. You'd have to be a pretty hardcore fan to feel that $25 bucks is a fair price for the amount of material. Amazon's price is a little bit easier to swallow. a little. |
