I am very happy with the look and feel of this hat. The size is just right for my head and it has an elastic band that makes it easy to keep it in place. The feather is a good 8 inches long. It had tape on it and I had to remove it carefully, but no biggie. The gold border is really nice looking. The hat is big and it looks like the one in the picture. The hat has wire around the edges which is good for shaping. It did not need much shaping as it came in a pretty decent size box so the hat was not crunched up during shipping. I am very happy with this purchase. Prior to this, I had a foam $3 hat from a dollar store and I knew I needed something better and I'm glad I found it. I placed this order along with 4 other items 5 days ago. This item got here first and with two other items from other vendors due to arrive today and one item from another vendor in "unknown" status meaning they ship fast too.

Very nice hat with wire around ends to shape. includes the feather too (not as big & white in the picture, but I'm sure those vary) It's a big hat though, so if u have a small head it will look huge. Good bands inside to keep it on.

Very nice tricorn, soft to the touch, and reshapeable to your liking. There is a wide band of elastic inside the hat to keep it in place, which is perfect for a man's head, but moved around a little on my smaller female head. But not really a problem as it can be pinned in place very easily if needed. A very good buy.

great value for the price. We chose this hat because my son loves pirates and this one was fancy but didn't have the skull and crossbones (which I'm not a fan of). He loves playing dress-up with this great hat!

I purchased this for my adult son to wear to a pirate-themed rehearsal dinner. It was perfect. He has a pretty big head and it fit. Was not too hot or itchy.
