This was sent back for a return as soon as it was received. disappointed.

Also did not find the keyboard to be all that easy to use, I thought I hated my virtual keyboard, used to love the BB keyboard, but this just didn't work for me.
Barbara A Stebbins
The only similar-looking key on this physical keyboard does NOT perform this function.

I bought this case even though there weren't any reviews, which I never do, because $40 seemed reasonable enough to take a chance. The case and keyboard have great fit and finish. Very solid and stylish.
I'm starting to get used to the keyboard and typing faster. Here are my thoughts:
Case:
- Fits well, a bit hard to take off.
- Makes the phone thicker and heavier, but not wider or taller.
- Easy access to plug charger in, no impediment.
- Does not fit on my alarm/sound dock because of the keyboard. Would not fit TomTom adapter, of course.
Keyboard:
- Keys click easily and have a good feel
- Blue function keys work well
- The space bar is a little off to the right. At first I kept hitting M and N keys instead
- Period and coma don't need shift or function key, so better access than on-screen keyboard
- Only one shift button on the left, so capitalizing letters on the left side of the keyboard is a pain. You can used the capslock key, but then have to turn it off.
- When texting, you still have to hit the send on the screen
- The arrow keys seem to only be useful to edit text, which is actually better than the on-screen moving of the cursor. I would be nice if the arrows could be used within apps (like going to next article in Reeder)
- The keyboard does have a Home key, which is useful
- It has a function key to switch international keyboard, but you can't hold the letter key down to get the other accent options like you can on the on-screen keyboard.
- The numeric keys are directly accessible without shift or function key, which makes it easier to type passwords with this keyboard
iOS:
- iOS does NOT support auto-correct with bluetooth keyboards, as of now.

I ordered this product with the idea that it would make my old iPhone useful for my wife, who prefers a slide-out keyboard and hence has stuck with Android phones. Unfortunately, with the Bluetooth keyboard enabled, the phone’s own touch pad keyboard is disabled, even with the keyboard in the stowed position. Thus, for applications that won’t display in landscape mode (the iPhone home screen and Facebook, for example), the keyboard is worse than useless, because it prevents one from using the touch pad keys while in portrait mode. You’d have to type sideways to make it work.
So: great concept, major fail for not simply including a tiny switch in the sliding keyboard that releases the iPhone’s own touch pad when the keyboard is retracted.

I bought this keyboard case after reading the few reviews that I could find. I figured it was only $15 so if it sucked it was no big deal. The keyboard works great, slides in and out for use very easily, and the back lighting is a very nice feature. My two main complaints are that the space bar is not in the normal center position (I did notice this in the picture and thought I might be able to get used to it) and the case portion does not protect the front of the phone at all...I regularly use a molded speck case which protects all areas of the iphone. Aside from that, it's a neat little case.

Nothing like having the blackberry keyboard experience on an Iphone, the best of both worlds! I have to confess I hate the Iphone keyboard. The downside it that my regular case does not fit anymore, I had to buy a new case. All in all I am happy.

I bought this as a gift for someone with an iPhone 4. After reading the instructions, charging it, etc, it never connected to the phone. Troubleshooting didn't work. Returned.

I ordered this because my wife doesn't like the touchscreen typing. As some of the other reviews mentioned, it has a few "quirks," but overall it works well. My wife charges this everytime she charges her phone, but I don't think this is totally necessary. It paired with the phone very easily. It does add a little bulk to the phone, but it's not any worse than some of the cases that are out on the market. Overall, this is a great product.

Bought this keyboard cuz I don't like typing on the iphone screen very much, well at least i thought I didn't. Now that I got the case I'm sad to say I wish I never would've. The cons are that once the case is on, you can never use the actual phone keyboard. So if you have to type anything on an app that won't go sideways, you just have to type on the case keyboard. Another thing is that the space bar on mine only worked half the time which was very annoying. The last thing is that the space bar is slightly to the left and there is only one shift key (on the left side) which is very annoying. Overall, I think I'm just gonna stick with my normal case and return this one. 2/5 review
