The guide is like my best friend. It provides a detailed map on what the level is about and sometimes when the levels have Fog of War, they show it all without Fog of War, perfect for preparing strategies. It provided me what I needed to beat a very tough mission and now I'm ready to go through the rest of the game thanks to this. I recommend it to anyone who has yet own Days of Ruin or has a hard time with the game. 5 stars.

Yes, this is a very useful purchase. I guess my only problem is finding the time to use it properly to finish off the game. Oh well.

Not really a guide but a tips book. Tells you tips to win but not exactly how. This book is not needed unless you want the tricks of beating the game.

Well it was good. I wish it went into more detail like turn for turn moves, because I bought the advanced wars game one and a half months ago and I still haven't beaten the final mission (the nest). The reason I haven't beaten it is because I don't know what do buy until it's too late and the enemy has me cornered and is still making more flippin troops that I cant stop from the nest. ( I mean come on it's almost impossible because you really have to watch your every move. It will take hours to beat it "I dont have time for that")But other than that everything was spectacular the trials, the rest of the campaign missions,the fog revealingthe location of the troops.

The book seems to assume you are already familiar with the game and is only fair with regard to unit details and how to use units.

The majority of the book tells you in detail how to win each scenario in the campaigns. I decided it would take all the fun out of the game for me and so it seems like kind of a waste of money unless you are the kind of person who can't play a game without cheat codes.
