4.0 out of 5 stars Creeper review
This creeper is well built, seems to be a strong unit , and the casters are made of fairly good material. I expect it to last for many years. The reason for not getting 5 stars ; the headrest material seems to me to be a low quality vinyl, which seems "cheapo". However, the headrest is attached with 2 screws from the backside, so a headrest recover job will be simple...

I wished this style of creeper was available with an adjustible headrest tho - -

I have 3 creepers and use a creeper more than most guys should and this has quickly become my favorite driveway conveyance.
When you get it take the time to re-grease the wheels and use RED locktite on the fasteners and she will be good to go for years. I actually use this more than my BONE creeper (which was wildly more expensive) because its more comfy to lay on for extended period of time. The wheels are kinda small (id prefer larger) but since there are 6 it rolls over most smaller objects with relative ease.
Im going to upgrade mine with a layer of 1/2" neoprene sheet, but thats outside the scope of my review.
Overall, this is the best creeper ive bought in a looooong time. Well worth the price!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Creeper!, August 28, 2010

This is a great creeper. Low slung so you can get under things easily, light weight, and durable construction. The headrest material is the only part that could be a little tougher, but I've had no trouble with it and it's easily replacable if need be in the future.

If you need a creeper buy this one you will not be disappointed.

Same creeper can be had at Harbor Freight Tools unbranded for half the price. Creeper is very sturdy. Padded headrest is low quality, but no biggie. Love the length on it, its great for taller guys.

I finally got rid of my old wood creeper. This works great and is so much more comfortable. I do wish it shipped with the casters installed but they were pretty easy to get on. Only time will tell if it lasts as long.

All in all, it is not the best creeper that I have ever used, nor is it the worst.

The biggest drawback/negative is the fact that it is way too narrow, but try and find a creeper that isn't. If the creeper body were about 6-8 inches wider that would be great. The wheels are another point to deal with, the "bearings" are a bit stiff and need to lubed before using. Also, each wheel had a small bump on each one from where they were made, these had to be smoothed out first so the creeper would actually roll. This would be a great creeper for $20.00 to $25.00, but unfortunately it cost more than that.

5.0 out of 5 stars Gimme the Creeps, November 2, 2011
This review is from: Advanced Tool Design Model ATD-81050 Blow-Molded Red Mechanic's Creeper (Automotive)
I've rolled around on the shop floor laying across the cold cement on a flat plywood version and on a metal roller model. This version is really well constructed of molded composite material. The wheels rotate very well. It's great for rolling in, out and under you vehicle. I doubt it could be used as a skateboard. I'm not game enough to try that. It's just damn useful for it's intended purpose.

It is light, comfortable and moves well. The small tool pouch is handy. I would recommend this product and hope to get years of use.
