After a year and a half of continuous training, on North American and Olympic trap shooting with Florin Marinache (ATA/NRA Certified Level 2 Trapshooting Coach) I found this book on Amazon and decided to get it. Here comes why I love this book.
- The book has a very well organized step by step approach that is very easy to understand and follow.
- It covers almost whatever you need to know about trapshooting game, from selecting the equipment to mental game of winning.
- It clearly highlights the role of a qualified coach in every step (It is not a self paced training book).
- Introduces practical ways to improve the trapshooting skills and track your progress.
- It is not written based on personal opinion. It is a well polished and usable collection of best practices applied by best shooters that author knows.
- It has comprehensive analysis of all possible reasons that one can miss a shot and to me that adds lots of value to this book.
- I have read a couple of other books and many articles about shotgunning. Most of them are just tips and tricks that may or may not apply to the style of your shooting while this book easily takes you some steps further.
