This book contains real, universal wisdom. When we all realize the "oneness" of this universe and our interconnectedness on a very literal level, we can begin to understand how and WHY our thoughts/actions do affect everyone/everything else, and, in turn, how that again affects US. This society is falling apart because we continue to believe in our separateness. This beautiful book breathtakingly conveys not only how, but why, to look inside ourselves for the light (read "goodness/enlightenment/god-knowledge/energy")that is truly and uniquely inside each one of us to help us as our lives/souls unfold. If our children could begin, at the youngest of ages, to develop a sense of their own personal power and creative (meaning to create) potential, and could know deeply the feeling of personal peace and satisfaction at their own accomplishments, each one would realize that practicing bigotry, humiliation, aggression, greed or any such negativity is destructive most of all to the perpetrator. The answers are all here. This text is brilliantly written and may seem at first more incomprehensible than it is. Would that more people could read and digest this incredible work. It is truth!

This book goes into great detail in expounding on the ancient Hindu principles of spiritual consciousness. Not recommended for the beginning student but excellent for those who are looking for greater insight from wisdom teachers of the Orient.
