Well, what can I say? How can you really review a drum wrench? The wrench is aluminum so it is very lightweight. Also it won't spark if you clang it against something, so you won't blow yourself up accidentally.

My bung hole is slightly oblong, so I had trouble getting my plug in place tightly by hand, or by using anything I had laying around in my garage. The wrench allows me to plug the bung hole securely to prevent leakage.

Overall, it is a really perfect drum wrench.

I bought this over 6 months ago and I am buying three more as I left the last one behind on a job site. It is so lightweight that I never noticed it in my tool bucket. It worked great about 98 percent of the times I've used it. I use it to open bung type caps on 2" NPT valve openings. The compact design fits into contricted areas well. Occasionally a plug is so tight or frozen and the access so restricted that it won't work and will slip out when lager force is applied. Wish I could find something on a 1/2" drive socket for these rare instances. It has never damaged itself. The slot on the tail end is for removing the vent cap on some barrels. When draing waste liquid back into a barrel via a funnel remove the vent plug so you don't get liquid burped back onto yourself.

This is a good tool for a standard drum bung cap removal device. This is the second time I have purchased several of these for chemical usage. Good material at a decent price. Recommended.

This bung wrench seemed well built and if decent quality. It however, did NOT fit the 2 in. bung caps on my plastic 55-gallon water drum. Based on the other reviews for this product it apparently fits some barrels fine, but perhaps they are the steel drums and not the plastic ones? Please leave a comment if any of you have used this product on a plastic 55-gallon or 30-gallon drum.

Wrench works well but be aware there are some barrel bungs that are larger than wrench tabs. Thus must be careful to get wrench to grab bung. Most bungs fits fine. Good price and works well otherwise.

I bought this wrench a few weeks ago. Shipped fast. Works great. My company delivers 55 gallon oil drums on a daily basis. I have opened countless drums with this wrench and I am glad I bought it.

Broke the first time I used it.... if it wasn't a complete waste of time i'd send it back for a refund. BTW, "made in India" = Poor quality control!

Worked like a charm! Nice aluminum, very lightweight, would recommend over plastic wrenches. Only upgrade to this would be a socket wrench.
