We use air chisels daily to scale concrete from our equipment frequently at odd angles and in blind, tight spots. I found these springs at less than 1/2 the price and thought they would have to be an economic alternative. They are not. The typical spring we used to use would last a week or two. If you can take care not to actuate the hammer unless it is in firm contact with the target, we have even gotten a month or more out if them. We busted 5 of these el cheepo springs in a single day of hard chiseling. If you can really baby them they might work for you but these were not durable enough for our application, All these springs broke at the same spot within minutes of service.
