Its a dead blow hammer. Color makes them hard to spot in the shop, and the material is soft... which is good and bad. Good, they wont mar, bad, because they get cut up pretty easily. But, used properly, should last. Not sure on other reviews, I can hear the shot moving in even the smaller hammer.

This set has become indispensable; there is a size for any project I attempt. The soft hammer heads allow me to adjust whatever I need without leaving an imprint on the wood.
