Its a dead blow hammer. Color makes them hard to spot in the shop, and the material is soft... which is good and bad. Good, they wont mar, bad, because they get cut up pretty easily.

But, used properly, should last. Not sure on other reviews, I can hear the shot moving in even the smaller hammer.

This set has become indispensable; there is a size for any project I attempt. The soft hammer heads allow me to adjust whatever I need without leaving an imprint on the wood. The hammers are well balanced with an easy grip. I couldn't be more pleased with the product, the speed of shipping, and the convenience of Amazon Prime.

I just got these about a month ago and I really like them. It is very nice to have the variety in sizes and for the price you can't ask for a better deal!

These hammers are pretty good quality considering the price. I use them at work and they're holding up really well so far.

They don't have the best quality control on these, it seems. Deadblows should have loose sand or shot inside that deadens each blow. The smallest hammer has no loose material inside and bounces back. Might be a sample defect or they all be like that. I'm not bothering to return them. Still, for the price, not that bad.

There made just as good if not better then the ones they sell at lowes, for a lot less money I got theses 3 for 3 bucks more then what lowes wanted for one.
