I used these to remove my factory DIN radio in my Ford and it worked 100%, saved me a huge hassle of creating a removal tool with wire hangers, plus these are made in America unlike the Scosche ones made in China.

Used these this weekend to remove my stock radio in my 2004 Ford Focus. We had trouable at first but eventually figured it out. When you put these in the holes on the side of the radio you have to push them both outward and pull at the same time to release the radio.

Eventually, these worked to remove the factory installed DIN radio in my Ford Focus. They bent way too easily though. Many times I had to pull them back out, bend them back in shape, and try again. Like I said though, they did eventually get the job done. The similarly priced item at Wal-Mart works better, and doesn't bend.

Worth the money works very well. Took my minute to find the sweet spot but, after it was really easy to take out. Definitely recommend!

Not only did this tool brilliantly remove my pesky and inferior car stereo and allow me to insert a dangerously mesmerizing and awesome one, I realized that it makes a sturdy, convenient, and easily secreted dual-eye-gouging device ready to fend off muggers, rapists, and home invaders! It is even effective against rabid racoons or cats who might come charging at you on some dark night as you take out the trash. Warning: unmodified it is unsuitable for defending yourself against larger game like brown bears. Some Googling led me to discover the proper angle for the dual-eye-gougers to be effective on a brown bear is 22.7 degrees, a black bear 26.2 degrees, a grizzly bear 32.5 degrees, and I would not recommend using it against the polar variety of bear as I have found those creatures to be very effective killers even with eyes well gouged.

This radio removal tool got the job done, but it was rather difficult because the tool was not as study as I was expecting. After removing the radio, it was quite the task to remove one of the tools from the radio itself because it was so bent. Essentially, this was only good for one use.

I just followed the simple advise I found in these reviews and the two radios I wanted to exchange were extracted from their respective cars. It took less than a minute each. What makes these better than a home made coat hanger version is the special tips which click into place so you know you're ready to put presure toward the center and extract the radios.
