The majority of this product is the maps that makeup the city of Waterdeep. I like maps a lot, and these maps are kind of nifty. When you fit them all together, it's big enough to fill a whole wall in your house (10 poster maps that fit together!), but to be honest, I haven't really used these maps much in my games since I bought this set 19 years ago.

Where this boxed set really shines is in the small booklet that comes with it. Among other things, the booklet contains some random generation pick pocket success result charts (tells you what you get when you successfully pick a pocket), and also a really nice rundown of a judicial system (for when you Unsuccessfully pick a pocket). The judicial system has really come in handy whenever the adventurers have a run in with the law. (Adventurers are known for getting into trouble.) I use these Pick Pocket charts and the judicial system all the time. It's Very handy and works well for any medieval fantasy city or town, even if it's not in the Forgotten Realms.

Get this booklet and you'll no longer find yourself stuttering over what the thief finds in someones pocket (or on anyones dead body). You also won't have to worry about coming up with spur of the moment laws and punishments when the players do something stupid.

This module is really a entire city set up. Has huge 10 piece map set for the big city of Waterdeep. Also a map for the castle that is detailed. The booklet gives you some of what is going on in the city. Explains the politics and a little on the time line for Waterdeep. Really like the breakdown on the judicial system and punishments it has, can adapt to any major city. Plus a very nice short or long version (rolling chart) of what NPC might have if he/she is a target of the PC pick pocketing or can think of other uses for this. Plus a really nice chart for who is around if something happens. Who is witness. Recommend if you are trying to make the city/cities in your campaign come more to life. Make sure the module you buy has all the parts to it or I would pass on it.
