I had to buy this overpriced book for a class I was taking. Throughout the course I found myself reaching for my other Linux books to research questions posed in THIS book. The entire text is based on Fedora Core 3! Many of the programs needed for hands-on projects aren't even supported any longer. True, there is also some useful info but why wade through the ocean of outdated material when there are better books available?

this book arrived exactly as described and within four days of the order! As always, I got a great value {my college bookstore had listed the same exact book for $130! and I paid about $65 for it!}. I will definitely be back when I need more books for class!
