I have only been using this helmet for a month now, but it has turned out to be all that I wanted and more.
Not only is it one of the best deals I could find on a DOT approved "modular" helmet (faceplate unlocks and moves seperate from the rest of the helmet) but it has the built in sunvisor feature that makes it VERY convenient and easy to use.
Since I have only had it for a short while I have no idea how durable the brand/design is, but the brand is pretty common so I should have no problems finding a replacement visor in a few years when this one might be scratched up. Besides, helmets are supposed to be disposable; they should be replace every few years, anyway.
The "Aviator" art is pretty slick, and they have several different patterns and colors. Again, for the price, it is tough to find anything like this.
Cons: the sun visor does not appear to have anti-fog, so you have to be aware on cold sunny days. The head vent is simple, but the front vent seems like something that might wear out (not sure, it is too new to tell).

I bought this helmet a couple months ago. I never write reviews, but this helmet deserves one. This helmet has a lot of wind noise, but that is part of having a modular helmet. The helmet looks every sharp, I had many people comment on it. Three weeks ago I was in a crash, an oil truck turned into me almost a head on crash. I have been in the hospital for over two weeks. I have many broken bones- but they will all heal with time. This helmet did its job, it protected my head and neck in the crash. The only real damage to the helmet was done by the EMT's they cut the visors off, and kept the helmet on even during the care flight. I read many reviews on this helmet before I bought it, not all reviews were positive. I thought for the price I would take a chance on it. The helmet does run a little large. Most helmets I am medium size, but after reading other reviews I ordered a size small, and the fit was perfect. The helmet does have alot of wind noise, not a big deal for me because I wear ear phones. Some of the other reviews on this helmet say it is very cheap made and hinges are made of plastic- not true. my helmet had all metal clips and hinges. I never had any problems at all with my helmet. I have had many friends come to see me since I have been home from the hospital, And I show the helmet to everyone. I have great respect for this helmet! The wreck I was in was a very bad one. I am being very honest when I say this helmet saved my life. When the time comes when I can get back to riding a motorcycle the very first thing I will do is buy this helmet again. The helmet is comfortable well padded and well vented. If you are looking for a helmet that does it all, and is very stylish, THIS IS THE HELMET YOU ARE LOOKING FOR!!

I absolutely love the graphics and overall design of this helmet. I've owned several motocross helmets, and a couple full face helmets but none were ever as comfortable to wear for long periods as this helmet is. It feels a little heavy at first but it never caused any discomfort when I went on a 180 mile ride yesterday. The flip down inner visor is a must! You do hear a little more wind noise with a modular than you do with a full face but I'm not going to complain about that when the overall comfort, looks, and functionality heavily out-weigh this one drawback.

My Background: Riding for 36 years. Retired USMC after 32 years, aircraft mechanic. If this is the type of helmet you're looking for, it's sweet! I've had this for one season and love wearing it. The built in sun shade means no glass frames digging in to the side of your head or slipping down or....well, you know the problems. Read a review complaining of the wind noise/rattle. If you open the vent on top, wind noise/rattle is virtually all but eliminated. You have to get used to putting it on/taking it off but that's a short learning curve. MORE than worth the price and I love the graphics!
