This book provides essential nutrition basics. It is easy to understand and you can lift it without back strain. I bought it while midway through my graduate courses in nutrition, though should have read it before and used it as a reference during.

I have found this book to be very helpful, it get in to depth in the metabolic system
I will have many uses for this in my Nutrition Response Testing Practice

This book is thorough and does not make assumptions. It definitely states when a theory is a theory as opposed to fact. It is easy to understand and a great asset in continuing nutrition education. I do wish the book companion site was more interactive, but overall great book.

Exactly what I ordered. Came in early and with no surprises. I can't say I enjoy the book because its mandatory for a class but its exactly what I needed!

The book came in great condition. I need it for my metabolism class, so for textbooks I suppose it is great. It has decent pictures and is fairly easy to read, but again it is a textbook for class so I am only using it as a reference to supplement my professors classes.

I think this book is wonderful. It is very in depth and diagrams too! Very informative. This book will be in my library forever so my children can take advantage of the information as well!

the book itself is a good read, a bit behind on the research. There are NO PAGE NUMBERS on Kindle for MAC. I have assigned readings and I have to pull up the "Look Inside this Book" feature on Amazon EVERY TIME I do an assignment. Very inconvenient for a book this costly. Please fix this, it's ridiculous.

The book came in great condition, no marks, no water on any pages. Great buy, recommend to others.

yes well can anyone shed some light on what is the difference to this book and the international version other than the massive cost difference (nearly $100) is one hard back and the other paper back and or is the international edition have stuff in it that is not for public
disclosure in the USA, eg you don't need drugs for a strong immune system or something like that i think both have the same amount of pages but am unsure.

I live in australia and am tossing up what could be the difference between the two.
