Wizard of Optics, October 25, 2000

This review is from: Advanced Optical Imaging Theory (Springer Series in Optical Sciences) (Hardcover)
Highly recommended for all optical engineers and student of related field. Even the latest topics, ultra-fast imaging, high NA vector theory, etc are described in plain manner. It is hard to find a better book which treats imaging as a diffraction. Most of Fourier optics text focus on holography or information processing heavily. But, what real optical engineers face diffraction problem most frequently is imaging. This book is a fix for the need.
