A Good Book For 3.5 Players,
By
This review is from: Advanced Player's Manual (Dungeons & Dragons d20 3.5 Fantasy Roleplaying) (Hardcover)
Of the 3 books in the 'Advanced' series I find this one the least useful but fun, none-the-less. Races: The Ability Score Modifier Points seem like fun if you are a player but will likely make the GM grind his/her teeth when everyone has Darkvision all of the sudden. Classes: I did not find this section very useful, I do not foresee myself choosing any of these classes to play. Other Stuff:There is some good extra material that may or may not come in handy, depending on the setting. Overall a good buy.

D&D Advanced Players Manual,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Advanced Player's Manual (Dungeons & Dragons d20 3.5 Fantasy Roleplaying) (Hardcover)
This book gives you a lot of options if your DM is pretty lenient on what your character can do. It also gives all players some additional Standardized ideas that the whole group can use. It is not wonderful but it is worth the price.
