Excellent book for advanced (or advancing) alto recorder players focusing on finger and tongue technique. Easy to read and put into practice and would be good for recorder teachers also.

This review is from: Advanced Recorder Technique: The Art of Playing the Reco rder (Schott) volume 1 (Paperback)
This book is very detailed and filled with scales and explanation of technique. However, beware, it is written in the Key of 'F' so if you have learned on a recorder in the Key of 'C' which most basic recorders are keyed to, this book will probably not be for you. If you are accustomed to playing an 'F' recorder, than this book is certainly a very well written and helpful book.
