About the Author
Phillip E. Pace is a professor at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California, and was previously a design specialist with General Dynamics Corporation. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, and his M.S.E.E. from Ohio University. He is a senior member of the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society, a member of SPIE, and chairman of the U.S. Navy's Threat Simulator Validation Working Group.

Great Book,

I liked this book for the following reasons: great introduction to the variety of digital receivers, the diagrams and figures are very good and aid in understanding the subject, just enough mathematical equations to learn the information and not fall asleep, and best of all, the Matlab programs are very useful. I recommend this book for anyone interested in communications.
