It provides a good cheek weld and, when attached correctly, the proper eye relief needed.

It works great, is very durable, and matches the black, plastic stock perfectly; it almost looks factory-installed!

Not quite universal, but, if you have some sandpaper and a few minutes you can make it fit your rifle.

I recently converted a Crosman 1377 air pistol to a carbine using the Crosman 1399 stock. After mounting a scope on the pistol, I realized my line of sight was too low if I rested my cheek on the stock. This product was cheap, easy to install, looks great and made my carbine comfortable to shoot.

Used this on my Savage Mk II. It brought my cheek right where it needed to be, it's comfortable and installation was easy. Great product for the money.

Cannot go wrong and it can be attached to most rifles just check your scope rings they have to be as high as you can get for it to be useful.

I have found this to be a very interesting way to raise the comb height for 2 of my rifles because of the price, and quality of the
build. It is solid, and offers a less expensive alternative to do what it is intended to do...raise you cheek weld to work with a taller scope mount. Highly recommended!

bought this to get the right cheek weld with my PTR 91 and the high scope claw mount, had to put to risers beneath, but is solid and puts my eye directly in line with the scope.

This is a matte-black nylon cheek rest that adds 5/8 inch of elevation to your line of sight.

It works great on my 7.62x39mm Saiga; with my cheek resting on this, my eye lines up perfectly with a Bushnell TRS-25 red dot sight on a UTG 5th Generation side mount. The downside is that I do not get to use the iron sights anymore, but I hate AK iron sights anyway and will likely replace them in the future.

Two things you should be aware of though:

First of all, it does not fit the shape of most stocks. If you have a very narrow stock, it may look a bit off up close. And if you have a very broad stock, this might not fit at all. A Saiga's factory stock tapers, so it looks a bit off in the front; I personally do not mind, but I know some people will care.

Second of all, they give you low quality painted zinc screws that are ridiculously long (I think 1 and 1/4 inches). Just go to your local Home Depot or Ace and get some #8 3/4 to 1 inch stainless steel screws (bring one of the screws to compare). Otherwise, you may encounter disaster when you unscrew these from your stock. I almost stripped one of mine doing so.

To make things easier for yourself, I also would like to point out that you can drill FOUR holes from the get go. Drill one set of holes for the cheek rest and then add two more holes, each placed one inch behind either hole in the first set. (Don't worry, the cheek rest is long enough to conceal all four hole no matter which set you choose to align them on.)

An unfinished project that looks to be workable. This cheekrest will match the black synthetic rifle stock it will be attached to.

Honestly, this cheek rest/riser is pretty solid for what you pay. I intend to mount this on my Crosman 2400KT air gun to enable a better cheek weld, but this would work for a variety of real steel firearms if you're willing to drill your stock (I for one would never consider this on any of my firearms). I will say this: It would be nice to have an available clamp, strap, etc package for this item that you could use to avoid permanent modification of your firearm's stock, but that's a whole different issue altogether. As far as make, durability, and look & feel, I love it. It's simple, has generous mounting holes, and will match just about any matte black finish there is, especially on polymer stocks. It's also quite a bit denser than what I imagined from looking at the pictures, and that's always a good thing where durability is concerned. The screws that come with this are fairly shoddy, and I recommend discarding those and going with a better set from your local hardware / gun store. Fortunately the stock on my air gun is a skeleton stock, and this will allow me to use two bolts with three nuts on each to allow the rest to be adjusted up and down for height variation. All in all, it's well worth the money if you're willing to supply a better pair of screws / bolts to go along with it.
