Very handy for working on cars. The adapters allow me to using large socket wrench with small sockets to get leverage, as well as using small socket wrench with large sockets in tight spaces.

I had bought a 1/2" drive breaker bar from an auto parts shop for the automatic fan belt tensioner when I was working on my car. I already had a 1/4" socket set at home. I had been looking everywhere for a 1/2" female to a 1/4" male adapter so that I could use the breaker bar with my 1/4" sockets, but couldn't find it. This adapter set is the closest I have come to finding the 1/2" F X 1/4" M adapter I was looking for. By combining the 1/2" F X 3/8" M adapter with the 3/8" F X 1/4" M adapter, I can use the 1/2" breaker bar with the 1/4" sockets. It is not a perfect solution, but it does get the work done.

Had this for months now. I swear I use it every single week. My motorcycles & scooters drive me nuts getting to tight places and this set is vastly better quality than I ever would have imagined! Also, such a very "COMPLETE" kit. Trust me, you buy this and you will find yourself wondering how you ever lived without it. You will also find the quality just fine, and will never again find yourself looking for a way to get the job done....a rare (for me) 5 stars without reservation.

It works. Quality is fine. Holder is nice. Has everything you need in one place.

this is a pretty good adapter set. It seems well constructed and sturdy. No slipping.

This has become one of my most used kits. It is handy for using your 1/2" breaker bar to break off small bolts when your 3/8" ratchet just isn't enough.

Not a whole lot to say other than these look high quality. I used them fairly extensively a week ago and they worked exactly as I had hoped.

I have had this set for over a year now and I love it.

Because sometimes those little nuts can be extremely hard to remove while using their little 1/4" driver -- put an adaptor on a 3/8" driver and you have mega-loads of torque to undo that stubborn little nut.

Glad someone thought of this - Good price too. Storage solution is great, as well.

This is a very nice adapter set. I do not get the impression that it is cheap or that the quality of the materials is suspect. I would recommend to anyone, including mechanics. It is what it is!
