Good book with lots of example code. Weak Graphics.,

Holzner's Advanced Visual C++ 4 is a good quality intermediate level reference. He uses a large amount of code to illustrate each topic. Graphics are the principle weakness of this book. While he does use a variety of screen shots, there are numerous dashed line drawings which detract from the overall appearance of the work. I still have no problem recommending it

This book is an excellent referance and written in a clear
and concise way. The only thing I do not like about this book
is that the graphics section is a bit limited.
