I'm a trade school student studying electrical installation (currently going on 1 year experience) I got this book because I wanted to further my knowledge of the electrical field. It wasn't easy finding a book that went past how to change a light bulb. This book definitely isn't for the average homeowner. It's better suited for the handman, even aspiring handymen! I say it's not for the everyday joe because this book covers entire installations of various lights, switches, receptacles (outlets), etc... If it's the bare basics you're looking for you should check out (Stanley) Complete Wiring (ISBN 0696237105) |
