Works really well. Frontline wasn't doing the job for our cat, and he has terrible allergies. A few days after applying the product, the cat seemed MUCH happier, and his scabs were already showing signs of healing. I don't know what we would have done without this product! Plus, this was totally the cheapest place to get it at the time. Nice.

If you've ever used it, you don't have to be told. The stuff works and works miraculously. After a season or two's consistent use, even in my multi-cat times, the flea problem seems to diminish; my theory is that they get gradually killed off in the vicinity of the house.

The other reason for 5 stars is the Amazon price: on 5/7/2010 I priced it at three pet stores in the eastern area of San Diego and all stores were between $56 and $58; Aamzon is quoting $38 for the same size and dose. A no brainer.

For some reason, the Frontline I bought stopped working. I tried Advantage and am totally pleased! I just have to apply it on time, every time.

We have never had a bout with fleas until this year and they were stubborn. I have very little carpet in my home but they thrived. I had used other products but they would return. With the application of Advantage and vacuuming every day (YUCK!)for a week or two took care of the fleas. It was about $15.00 cheaper on Amazon than at the pet store. Good Riddens to our unwanted house guests!!!!

SOOOO glad I bought this product just in time. I have indoor cats in San Diego, and they STILL get fleas if I don't catch them in time before the season starts.

I've tried everything for my cat. I have four, but one has allergic reactions to flea bites. This is the only product that has worked. Amazon is also the cheapest place to get it that I have found. All other places charge $15/dose. Thanks Amazon!

This is fantastic! We tried everything and this worked the best! You could see a change in my cats' personality after just one day. The fleas were literally "dropping like flies" within two hours of application. We used it a couple of days after a flea bath and it apparently got what the bath didn't. I definitely recommend a follow-up treatment, even for indoor cats.

Withing 24 hours of application, both my kitty cats are relaxed and not scratching anymore. Works beautifully every time.

My poor cat Mittsford, was having real bad flea problems. No matter what product I tried on him, I'd still see those little suckers hopping all over him. He was miserable, so I read the reviews on the Advantage Purple Box for Cats and I figured with all the money I spent,it's worth it to try something new and inexpensive. Well, it worked! He stopped scratching almost immediately. I highly reccomend this product. Thanks Amazon!

All I hope is this is the real thing because I discovered that I might have been getting old stuff repackaged for me. It was heartguard for my dog and now he definitly has heartworm. The only way I can tell is if my cats break out in fleas. I only used it once, and so far so good. I do live in Northern Ca. and sometimes it gets too cool for fleas. This is not a negative comment.
