Advantus Proximity vertical badge holders are clear, plastic holders designed to protect high-tech badges. Perforated holes at the top of the badge accommodate a strap clip or neck chain.

Designed to keep your valuable, high-tech proximity card safe, clean and secure, Advantus Proximity Badge Holders are a must-have item for any company. Each clear holder measures 2.38 x 3.38 inches in a vertical orientation with the opening on top. Just thread a strap clip or neck chain adapter (sold separately) through both sides of the pre-punched hole on the badge holder to lock in place. Badges or ID cards will be securely protected from the elements and the clips will make them easy to access for swiping at security checkpoints. I purchased these for school use and am happy to report that they are really well-made and well-designed. Your badge stays put without slipping out when you add a lanyard, badge clip or slide them on your keychain. They open at the top with the "hole punches" being completely through the entire product unlike some others I came across that just had a pocket without any kind of safeguard/closure to keep your badge in place. Great for swipe cards, too!

These badges do their job, there is really nothing to complain about.
some key things about the product:
- the vinyl that is used it not cheap and thin, but has a good thickness to it.
- the opening to insert whatever sleeve inside is at the very top of the badge. think about a ziplock bag, same concept.
- once you hook a lanyard to the badge, you won't be able to remove the insert unless to take off the lanyard, this is because the opening is at the very top, you pull the lanyard hook through holes punched on both sides of the vinyl, in a way, locking whatever is inside.
- it fits 2 3/8 x 3 3/8 fine, but also can fit something a little longer in height but not width.
overall good product and good price

I bought these badge holders to use as luggage tag holders for guests at our wedding.
These holders did the trick but out of 50 used 4 tore down the sides as I slid the ID paper inside. I was very gentle because I needed at least 40 holders for all of the guests. I found some of the holders to be slightly tighter than others which is probably what caused the tearing. Overall I think these badge holders are a good value for the money but consider that a few have the possibility of being un-usable.
