Very Dissapointed,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)

It is true.....you get what you pay for! This hammer barely left a mark in the metal I pounded it on! I suggest spending a little more money and buy a heavier texturing hammer. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time or money on this product.

Not worth it,

I was very disappointed in this Advantus product. Don't waste your money. The hammer is VERY light weight making it almost totally useless for anything. For smashing brads and metals a regular hammer gave the same result. I have tried it on cardstock and soft metal embellishments. I didn't even bother with heavier metals. It just won't work with as light as it is. I compared it to what a regular hammer would do- the results were the same. If distressing metals is what you want to do I suggest getting the better hammers.

Better than expected,

I really like this hammer because I can control it easily. I didn't want a heavy, expensive hammer for my brads, metal embellishments and thin metal sheets. It gives me different designs and I like the cross-hatching that Tim Holtz demonstates on his video (on the Tim Holtz website). A fun hammer for my scrapbooking and card projects.
