The light works very well. Contrary to the description on Amazon, lamps are included with the light.
The battery versions by the way, granted that no cord shows, use expensive D cell batteries.

I purchased this light for an original expensive painting I bought last year. I love how good it looks and how easy it was to install. It even comes with 2 settings to allow you to choose the amount of light it will display. I really wish it would come with a thinner cable to make it easier to disguise. But I can't complaint because nothing comes close to the quality and pricing of this lamp. I highly recommend it. Plus it already comes with 2 light bulbs.

I bought two of these lamps and was pleasantly surprised. They are a good value for the money. They look best when you can mount them directly to the back of the picture you want to illuminate. Both of my pictures had a thick wooden supporting frame (at the top, in the back) of more than 1 inch wide and deep enough to hold a wood screw. This made it easy to securely fasten the slotted support bar of the light to the back of the frame.
