good collection of advent music,

Not much to say, fine performances and a nice balance of traditional liturgical music styles. I particularly enjoyed the thrilling choral arrangement of Veni Veni Emmanuel. Be warned that, while they probably did their best with the miking and recording, it will sound muddy and overly reverberant to some ears.

Like most Anglican music, this is exquisite, and I love the fact that you can buy Advent music for Advent and wait until Christmas for Christmas music. There is an unfortunate tendency throughout the album for the music to become heavy and ponderous; I think this is because rather than celebrating Advent, the cathedral choir is celebrating itself for celebrating Advent: there's a self-referential quality to the music that makes takes it from soaring to cloying and then finally annoying. However, I must add in fairness that if you are a fan of Anglican cathedral music, and do not hear the self-referential tendency, you will probably be delighted with this recording.
