This is NOT a booklight!, May 22, 2000

This review is from: Adventure Book Light and Flashlight (Accessory)
The light dimmed constantly and it doesn't sit on a table very well as it is advertised. The light is not nearly bright enough to read by. A poor light.

I have returned this booklight. With brand new batteries the light dimmed constantly. I have an "Itty Bitty" Booklight and it far out shines this one.

I am very pleased with my Lumatec book light., May 27, 1999

The Lumatec Adventure Book Light and Flashlight has been the perfect solution to my late-night reading problem. My husband goes to sleep immediately after going to bed, and stays asleep all night. I don't do either, and if I turn on the light to read I disturb him. If I don't read, I don't sleep. The light cast by this product is perfect. It isn't bright enough to awaken my husband, but it is more than bright enough to read by. Light weight and compact, it works easily with paperback books. Doubling as a flashlight, I can take the dog out while it is still dark without turning on the light. I do recommend that you invest in a couple pairs of rechargeable batteries. Two regular AA batteries only last for a few days, so it can be rather expensive to keep in operation.
