This is an high quality, important book. It details the life and times of Dag Hammarskjold, the second Secretary-General of the United Nations. This is a man to study, a man whose ideals were never compromised despite the trying nature of his post.For devotees of Hammarskjold, this book is a must buy. For students of international relations it is a moving document of the power of one mans strength displayed in all of its myriad forms. I have been a fan of Hammarskjold's since high school over ten years ago, and I am so happy that I found this book. |
