Punk for Grownups who haven't yet grown up, November 15, 2008

Music from a guy who fronted the influential punk band, ALL, for many of its most creative years, as well as his own two fisted projects such as Pavers and Bonesaw Romance in later years. Reynolds' Steaming Beast is his most mature, thoughtful, and dare I say poignant collection of musicians and songs thus far in what will surely prove to be a long tenure of musical greatness. These songs are wonderous in melody and lyrical imagery, hence this review's title, with which I sought to convey a feeling of child-like longing for a less painful past, a carefree present and most of all a hopeful future. Imagine Mr. Rogers with a bottle of scotch, telling it like it is, and that's "Adventure Boy." Buy it, and sip it while you cry, laugh and dream until the bottle's nice and empty; Then share with friends.
