Book Description

June 1, 1993
A pure but not so very simple fairy tale that weaves a hypnotic web. Delightfully illustrated and designed for all ages, this story is destined to take a place with great works of fiction, like Alice in Wonderland, Wind in the Willows, and other great works. But with one twist: Richard is not only a great story teller, he is one of, if not the greatest, hypnotic communicatiors to have ever lived. And in this story, you may find his skills as an agent of change impactful.

Editorial Reviews

About the Author

A word from the Richard Bandler. Through hearts of stone and will of vile mush we all weave our life. Until passion's fire joins with light of love to melt and boil away fools and brutes... or else my children... you just fade away. I began writing this tale in 1975 after writing five books in less than two years, all quote, non fiction. The Adventures of Anybody---Tales of Meta for You was my escape, my passion, my chance to take what I had learned building models of language and unconscious and unconsciously put it to use. However, journeys are never as easy as they appear if they are to be worthwhile. My journey twisted through many people and places and lead to see all change comes to be the right direction when the heart grows tired of the mind not the reverse. So I dedicate this book first to all the illusions along the way. Hopefully their journey will lead them to something more worthwhile. I dedicate this volume mostly to a heart that with mind knows passion can grow beyond what we would never suspect. Remember life gets better when you're headed in the right direction and you'll know it's right because you're sure enough to be unsure about but never unsure enough to not do it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good Read for Children and Adults, January 5, 1999
This review is from: The Adventures of Anybody (Paperback)
It's a book about a prince who discovers himself along his journey. A prince with a sickness who discovers tools to change. Lots of hypnotic language for the experience NLP'er or beginning neophyte in Neuro Linguistic Programming. The person who reads the books gets to change rather than the person listening to the story. Good book for children when they are sleepy, and adults who not awake to insights!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great storytime book for children and adults, January 4, 1999
This review is from: The Adventures of Anybody (Paperback)
I really enjoyed it. I read it to my nephew Rodan a few years ago and my cousin, Eden.

The trick is the person reading it changes along with the person being read to.

Want to create immediate personality change?

This book is for you.

Its the great adventure of a specific person who happens to discover himself while on that beautiful and skillful journey picking up magical tools for transformation.

Dont's just read this review. Own the book! NOW!

Own for the future, I can't wait to read for my future children and relatives.

I have given a few copies of this to some friends as well.

This is a special treat for practitoners of Neuro Linguistic Programming.

I recommend this highly to anybody but most specifically somebody who wants to change.

This book is a alchemic toolbox for magic.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hypnotic language, engaging fiction, May 11, 2000

Bandler does a wonderful job at circular, enigmatic, and yet satisfying fiction. He does an even better job at showing beautiful uses of hypnotic language and hypnotic metaphors. The entire book is also a wonderful hypnotic cure for ennui, both by being entertaining and by being a powerful set of hypnotic suggestions for exactly that purpose.

A beautiful demonstration of Ericksonian principles wrapped into a package any child (any almost any adult) will love; in that respect, the book is a little like Grimm's Fairy Tales.
