5.0 out of 5 stars It's a quick read, June 16, 2004

This is my first time reading about the Bailey school kids, but I thought the book went by fast and was easy to understand. That is important when writing for younger kids. They can save the complex classics for when they're older.
The good thing about books like these, which include Harry Potter, the Hardy boys, etc., is that they are so readable that they can set patterns of reading that can stay with the child for years to come. Another series I recommend are the Rutabegga [sic] stories by Carl Sandburg, which has a simple way for kids and adults alike to remember the story long after it's been read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Dracla doesn't Play Kickball, December 6, 2011
This review is from: Adventures of Bailey School Kids No. 48: Dracula Doesn't Play Kickball (Mass Market Paperback)
I had been telling my granddaughters about when I was in school we would play kickball and which of my froends I could beat. I would also tell her about the others that didn't like it and why. Some of the things she said she and her friends had done it too. When I gave her this book she said she wanted to play with dracula.
