My five year old enjoyed it. It's a lost dog finding its way home. I have to say I'm liking these movies more (from a parenting standpoint) than the many big-budget, big studio pictures which, although rated G, are violent, sarcastic, cynical, sassy, and flippant. Big drama, unfortunately to most writers, equals all the "stuff" listed above. This is "little drama" here.

If you're looking for a movie that the entire family will enjoy you're probably better going with a tried and true favorite like Homeward Bound. The storyline and dialogue in this movie are very simplistic and will quickly bore older viewers.

That being said, this movie will be a hit with young children that like animals. My two year old daughter has had this movie a week and has asked to watch it every day. It can be helpful for introducing new animals to a young child's vocabulary and is a great way to talk about obedience with your child- since this pup's disobedience and knack for not following direction tends to get him in trouble a lot.

I loved Bailey. He starts out so cute with everything (like spoiled, cause doesn't know any diffference), but then learns why people have rules and why they should be followed. It is a good lesson teacher for children on why you need to be obedient and listen to your parents. They love you and want to protect you. :)

My kids love the Disney Buddies movies and so they liked this one as well but this one has more cool animals. Simple plot for kids to latch onto. My 5 year old was glued to the TV but my 3 year was not really interested. I loved the bear cat and the sneak attacks. It's a free kids movie so I was pleased.

It's boring for adults, but my three year old daughter enjoys it. Lots of animals. Only one part that is creepy for little kids, the monkey scenes...my daughter hides from those...only lasts a couple minutes. Other than that....it's cute.
