5.0 out of 5 stars review of Adventures in Consciousness by Jane Roberts
This book is a breath of fresh air in terms of tackling areas of the human psyche that other psychology books are either silent on or dismiss without any kind of investigation. The author ventures into areas of human experience that we all have encountered in some form or another and for which we have no official explanation. She approaches the subject in an open,...

1.0 out of 5 stars Adventures in Consciousness not worth reading
After reading Jane roberts Adventures in Consciousness I was most disappointed. The book is a collation of individual experiences disjointed and not put together very well. The publication is certainly nowhere up the the supreme standard of her work "Seth Speaks" of which I cannot speak too highly of.

5.0 out of 5 stars review of Adventures in Consciousness by Jane Roberts, August 11, 2007
This book is a breath of fresh air in terms of tackling areas of the human psyche that other psychology books are either silent on or dismiss without any kind of investigation. The author ventures into areas of human experience that we all have encountered in some form or another and for which we have no official explanation. She approaches the subject in an open, courageous, intelligent way, asking the kinds of questions that lead beyond the narrow confines of what is commonly accepted as reality. A mind blowing adventure in expansion of consciousness without drugs.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good to hear Jane Speak, June 19, 2000

After reading all the Seth books it is goodto hear Jane. She offers great insight into the Seth works. This is her first book on "Aspect Psychology" which by it's definition sounds a lot like "Transpersonal Psychology". She explains many of Seth's concepts on the self but curiously she manufactures her own terms instead of using the ones Seth readers are familiar with.

5.0 out of 5 stars Question while Questing +++, October 21, 2009
Question while Questing. Jane Roberts is a very rare type of person who is willing to deeply explore known and unknown areas of being -- while staying both critical and curious. While being somewhat interested in her "Seth" books -- as time flows onward I value Jane Roberts-in-her-own-words as much or more than "Seth". Question while Questing thru Jane Roberts or "Seth" -- and one may gain some valuable old and new views on aspects of being. This Aspect Psychology book is very coherent and concise as compared to the "Seth" books and, at least, complements those -- as a wanted [or needed] guidebook. The various clear diagrams and their sharp rational explanations are especially Inspiring for me. Aspect Psychology seems to go far in the direction where Science meets Religion and Truth meets Faith. It also seems in quite good harmony with Psychosynthesis [founded by Assagioli]. Jane Roberts also has written a follow-on Aspect Psychology book called "Psychic Politics". Question while Questing +++

5.0 out of 5 stars Aspects of a whole, January 12, 2003
By
In our attempts to determine the nature of the greater union of reality (or the unity of all things), we often struggle to find adequate terms.

Jane's marvellous attempt to reconcile the spearation aspect of individual expression with the whole of all that is (not only possible but also probable) offers an invaluable entry to that subject.

Quite apart from the Seth books, this introduction to the nature of self-recognition and the combined relative communication of all things stands its ground.
