5.0 out of 5 stars great job, forrest..., January 3, 2003

This review is from: The Adventures of Guitar Man (Audio CD)
This is down here as a salute to my hometown boy (literally not figuratively-- same town, same school, etc...). I originally picked up his CD at the public library, and, recognizing the name somewhat, figured it would be an interesting listen -- completely ignoring the fact that i am very much a vocals person, and DO NOT like plain instrumentals. i am SO glad that i did-- i have listened to this album so much that i probably need to get a new copy soon or risk losing it. (okay, well, maybe not quite yet, but...)I love the whole CD, but some favorites include orbit one, halley's fire, nerd gods, and miracles. The only thing greater than the kick-[butt] guitar on this album is forrest's obvious talent-- i haven't had the luck to see him live yet, but supposedly he plays so fast and well that his fingers are a blur. i tend to believe it.
thanks, forrest, and dude, keep up the good work. 'heroes and villains' is getting ordered as soon as my state of broke-ness goes away and i actually get some money. ; )
