5.0 out of 5 stars A greatly missed puzzle game!
I feel really sorry for the kids today that are growing up on stuff like Grand Theft Auto and all those other realistic games that just don't need to be games in the first place! When I was growing up in the 80's, (I'm 26 now), there were all these awesome, good quality games that made you feel like you were in another world; it was totally unrealistc and just fun to...

3.0 out of 5 stars Worth the Price
The Adventures of Lolo was a challenging game. Room after room of seemingly easy puzzles await you. Sometimes the puzzles need more work than they seem to, and sometimes less than what it seem. It combines skill and patience, and is worth the price. Enjoy!

I feel really sorry for the kids today that are growing up on stuff like Grand Theft Auto and all those other realistic games that just don't need to be games in the first place! When I was growing up in the 80's, (I'm 26 now), there were all these awesome, good quality games that made you feel like you were in another world; it was totally unrealistc and just fun to play. Nowadays, almost every single game features stuff that is just too realistic and doesn't get you away from reality. I was playing games like Super Mario Bros., Adventures Of Lolo, Metroid, Castlevania, and they made me feel like I was in another world.

Adventures Of Lolo is an incredible and very underrated puzzle game, almost as good as Tetris. You go from room to room, floor to floor trying to get to the door at the other side of the room opened. While you are trying to do all these puzzles, many different enemies try to kill you and get in your way. There's this one enemy that always kind of scares me because when they attack, it's really fast and the noise just shocks me. But I just love this game still and wish it would be ported to the GBA or Gamecube or even the Nintendo DS.

I really feel sad for the children growing up today because they will never really get to experience quality games like Lolo, Super Mario Bros. and a lot of those old NES and even SNES games that will always be superior to the games today! Don't get me wrong, I do have some Next Gen games like Mario Sunshine, Castlevania, Final Fantasy and Baiten Kaitos but you know what games like those have versus Grand Theft Auto type games? Fantasy!! Nothing is realistic in those games!!

I'll never understand why gamers all over the world keep saying that they want more realistic stuff!! If I wanted realistic, I'd watch Reality TV!! Give me a game where I'll be transported to another world! Give me a game where nothing is as it seems! Games like Mario and Lolo are what children SHOULD be playing, NOT Grand Theft Auto with cursing and strip clubs!

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the greatest puzzle games for NES, April 18, 2002

The Adventures of Lolo was an original idea that produced what I believe is one of the top puzzle/adventure games ever. The way they constructed the action aspect to fit together perfectly with the puzzle/strategy aspect was seemless and flawless. Like the game or not, you have to respect the genius who came up with this idea.

I'd happily play this game on my own, but I asked a friend for recommendations for games that we can play as a family. (our normal games are: one of the kids or my wife plays for 30 seconds and then dies, and then I play for a long time, and then someone pays for 30 seconds, etc)...

This game we all play together, discussing where to go and what strategies to try. We take different turns being in charge of the controller. It is a lot of fun.
