Many books and documents have given us alot of information about the free spirited days known as the Old West.This DVD, Frontier Justice:The Law and the Lawless not only succeeds in that effort but entertains the viewer with many authentic photographs and stories about lawmen and lawbreakers. Kris Kristofferson narrates this entertaining documentary and even delivers an original song about those days of shootouts, gambling, and the like. I was also impressed with the way this film was edited to provide continuity and sequence of our western history. Whether one is a western diehard or just looking to be entertained, at this low price you'll be amply rewarded. Currently,as our country deals with complex social and economic issues which at times seem too much to handle, an historically factual piece of the American Spirit and the people who helped shape it reminds all Americans to perservere.
