Lovely show but do not buy this video,

Ozzie and Harriet are nearly unknown today, and this video does the show no favours. I knew I was in trouble when it arrived in a plain white box. Although recorded in SP the image quality is extremely poor, with badly damaged film to start with. From the low resolution I would place this as about a tenth generation copy. Oldtime tv collectors do have better quality copies they can let you have for far less. Nearly thirteen dollars for two episodes of extremely low quality does nobody any favours. Do not buy this. Clamour instead for a truly commercial release on DVD. Meanwhile seek out old time traders. This family show is great once you get past the quality. It deserves a better release. A much better release. |
