About the Author

MaryAnn Glazer was born in Wisconsin (Go Packers!) and lived in Minnesota with her husband Ernest (a Viking fan). They now reside in Arizona. As a mother, with children who reside in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Georgia, grandmother of four and great-grandmother of two (more on the way), MaryAnn is surrounded by the "wee ones" in her life. Since 1990, MaryAnn, a breast cancer survivor, has volunteered with the CanSurmount Program in Minnesota and Arizona. She also chaired and trained volunteers for the LINC Program (LINC stands for Listen, Inform, Nuture and Care) at the hospitals were she was treated. MaryAnn has written articles on cancer survivorship, volunteering, membership bios, and antique porcelain, for topic specific periodicals. In 2003, a tiny Maltese puppy, Teddy Berkeley Glazer, entered her life. He joined the ever expanding family and has been a delightful addition, not to mention the inspiration forThe Adventures of Teddy Bark-Lee series.
