5.0 out of 5 stars A Great Game! December 12, 2011
Platform for Display:Nintendo Wii
Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
This was a lot of fun and the graphics were so vivid, the game just jumps off the screen. While I have not seen the movie itself I was amazed to see some of the same type of animation that you see in the trailer itself and in playing the game you will be quite pleased to find the game filled with high quality graphics, music and plot that will keep you engaged in the game for some time. I played both the single and multiplayer version of the game and both were quite fun. I tended to like the single player a bit better, not because of anything specific, I just liked having more control overall with what happens int he game. All-in-all this was a fun game that is true to the movie itself. I highly recommend it to all!

1.0 out of 5 stars Buggy Game April 20, 2012
Platform for Display:Nintendo Wii|Verified Purchase
Fun: 1.0 out of 5 stars
This could have been a good game for kids but after working your way through the levels it intermittently locks up when you get to the end of a level and are fighting the final scene. Frustrating for a kid. This has happened numerous times and we are finally giving up after completing more than half the game. Lock ups are always in the final scene when things are real busy. No scratches on CD and all other Wii games play fine.

5.0 out of 5 stars AWsome Game -Loved it! January 25, 2012
Platform for Display:Nintendo Wii
Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
I bought this game for my 11 year old son. Previously his favorite game had been Pitfall Harry. We had seen the movie, twice, and were excited about getting the game. The graphics and voices are really nice and the game has some of the plot from the movie but it has many differences. We thought that was a great idea as it brought back fun memories of the movie but had unexpected twists to keep the player in his toes. It would not have been as much fun if it had adhered strictly to the movie plot. We have had this game 5 days and my son has done it through twice, at about 10 hours each. It was THAT fun. His favorite parts were the ruins and the basement. His favorite weapon, the beach ball, bananas were also good. I wish all wii games were this much fun. His only wish is that it had more levels so it took longer. Hope the movie has a sequel soon, and the wii game too.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great game for wii December 29, 2011

I have not seen the movie, so I can't speak for how close the game plot follows the film, but it is a ripping great story. This is probably my favorite wii game ever. The game interface is great. The game tutorial is actually built into the story, and it coaxes you along until you are going at full speed. The graphics are beautiful. I love this game!

5.0 out of 5 stars He liked it! April 18, 2012
Platform for Display:Nintendo Wii|Verified Purchase
Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
I bought this for my eleven year old son, who is an avid game player on Xbox and the Wii. I thought he had been playing too much of the "rougher" military games, which he is quite good at playing. We had seen the Tintin movie which he also liked. When he started in on this game, he was slightly perplexed as to what to do, but soon had the knack of it. Once he started playing, it was hard to get his attention, or get him to put it aside. The game takes you all over the place, much like in the movie and in the series (Canadian). It requires the usual skills of racing and flying vehicles of several kinds, and it requires skills for diving, hiding, slugging, and remembering what items you might need to overcome your next obstacle. The game is not boring, and the graphics are more than adequate. After many episodes, he actually finished the game to its highest level. He was proud to have achieved the goal, but a little saddened that the adventure had come to an end. However, he found some bonus material which allowed him to race against the clock in the motorcycle, etc. No one is killed in the game, they are knocked out. No blood, but plenty of physical action throughout. Does the boy recommend the game? Most highly! Unfortunately, he is back to the blood and guts of the military games. Thank goodness he enjoys going outside to play soccer and other physical activities, or I would have to curtail his video enthusiasms. Good game ... recommended. And I am sure that given a little down time, the boy will run through the adventures again.

5.0 out of 5 stars Adventures of TinTin The Game January 14, 2012
Platform for Display:Nintendo Wii
Fun: 4.0 out of 5 stars
We rented this game over the weekend to see if my daughter liked it enough to buy it. She is almost ten and loves it. I have been playing with her much of the time and while there are some parts that are so easy for me they are monotonous, the game speed does pick up and it gets more difficult. The two player mode is fun and the dogs are cute. You get to play as five different characters from the story including Snowy. This mode is more two dimensional like traditional two player games, but still fun. The single mode is amazing and the game play between the two modes is different enough that it is worth it to play the whole game in both modes. I am impressed with how true to the movie and comics the animation is in the game. The motorcycle and plane segments of the game as well as the sinking ship escape are all exhilarating. This is absolutely a charming game!

1.0 out of 5 stars It's very violent August 8, 2012

Fun: 1.0 out of 5 stars
I am going to be the odd man out & give a bad review. Grandpa bought this for my 6 year old son. It's just a very violent game. You have to punch people constantly. Pretty much that's all you do. Punch someone, move on, punch someone else.
We prefer non violent games or at least games that have cartoonish type violence (like the Lego games) I don't want my son to punch people in the face for half an hour.
