This book makes for a great wedding present, especially for any teachers you know who are getting married. While parts are a tad cliche, others are unexpectedly poignant, and most of the book is refreshingly funny. One of the best things about this book is the illustrations, which were done by the children to accompany their advice.

This is the perfect wedding gift. I ordered three; one for each of the couples getting wed this summer.

I agree with those who have cited this little gem as an excellent wedding gift, especially if you are giving money or gift cards as this provides a little something to wrap. Most of the advice and drawings are either funny and/or poignant. I always picture the bride and groom sitting down to read it together after all the uproar of the wedding and the honeymoon -- and I'm confident if read, it will touch their hearts.

I bought this adorable book for a good friend on his marriage. I couldn't resist thumbing through it before wrapping it up. It's filled with laughter, youthful wisdom and love. Every newly married couple should have one.

I needed a "light" gift for the groom at the bridal shower and this was perfect. Small but cute.

This little book made me smile. I gave it to a bride-to-be. It's written by 3rd graders and made me see that if 3rd graders can get the message, adults certainly should, too. No long and involved paragraphs by a doctor or therapist. Just simple truths. It's a treasure.

I usually get gift cards as a wedding gift, but also like to include something small to wrap. This is perfect! Oddly enough, the advice is right on target too. I'll be ordering more to have on hand.

what an excellent book! these 8 year olds have more common sense than many of us married adults. i have given this book as a supplement to several folks getting married and i even include it in my lending library for patients, recommending it (along with other books and activities) for when folks' behavior or priorities aren't conducive for a happy marriage. occasionally folks read the other books, but everyone reads this one and enjoys it! while it's not meant as a tool for therapy, it can be very helpful in breaking the ice in a non-threatening manner. it is well worth the price!

After I bought this book for myself and loved it, I have used it as an add-on to wedding presents, and every couple who received it commented on loving the special book. Children have a unique view of things--including marriage--and little inhibition to keep them from talking about their views.

My grandmother gave this book to me when I got married. It is so cute, real, and down-to-earth, that we have since given it as part of the wedding gift at every wedding we attend. Kids speak the truth, and their innocense is portrayed through the simple, yet honest statements and drawings.
