This small 85 page book is an excellent presentation of various issues and attitudes and hesitations that seekers may be experiencing, and a clear approach to those issues and attitudes and hesitations, based on the Word of God. For someone considering coming to Christ, this book can help clarify thinking. For someone already a believer, this book can help strengthen faith.

Charles Spurgeon engages with the reader to entreat him to come to Christ. I've read it and given it away because of the Gospel impact it has. For Christians it encourages you with Christ and His work on our behalf but also helps you learn what it looks like to call someone to Christ. One of the best Spurgeon works I've ever read...and that's saying a lot!
