I love to read Bunyan as millions of believe do. If you have read The Pilgrim's Progress or The Holy War, I think you will be pleasantly surprised at the style of this book. I think it is second only to the great classic. It is a deep walk through the Biblical perspective on suffering and the gracious attitude a believer should have in such a time. You will enjoy Bunyan's use of the Scripture and his unusual insight into suffering. After all, he spent twelve years in jail and should know. Read this book.

Gives the answer to so many types of suffering. I love the discourse of God not just as King and Father but as Creator. The language is a little difficult, but worth the effort.
