My wife and I have an older condo in the city. You know what that means! We struggled against the little bastards for years until we stumbled upon this. We learned over the years:

1. Consumer and pro grade bait traps simply do not work. The roaches even use them over time as little mini roach condos...

2. No amount of cleaning will prevent roaches in a heavily infested building...there's always a new supply of roaches working their way towards you through the walls from your sloppy pigsty neighbors.

3. The roaches you see on any given night are perhaps 2-5% of the total infestation numbers you have.

So we stumbled upon Advion. This is the stuff that pro pest control uses. Why pay a premium for them to pay you a visit and use the same stuff you can get from Amazon?

Don't bomb your place with gas or mists etc! We used this, pea-sized dollop every three feet, in cabinets, everywhere else you can think of where roaches might be in our kitchen and bathroom.

~1 day - major roach carnage - they seemed to crawl out from everywhere to die in plain sight on the floor. Every hour we swept up 5-10 adult roaches.

~2 days - carnage continues

~3 days - carnage abating, noticeable drop in roach prowling

~5 days - still seeing dying roaches, almost zero prowling roaches

~1 week - almost total control, reapplying as per instructions to get the dregs.

We will have to do this 3-4 times a year, but it is worth it given the fact that we are no longer tormented by the roaches.

This product works as a killing agent when roaches take the bait, eat it, share it with their roach friends, and then they all die a slow death.

My apt complex sucks and i had more roaches than bebe's kids and a buncha OCTO MOM roaches. i asked my apts to spray and exterminate and their wack no swag exterminator couldnt do ISH. I finally got tired and took matters in my own hands and bought different products that didnt work. I came across this great Dupont product and gave it a try and BAM!!! BAM!!! SHAZAM!!! all the roaches got obliterated after two weeks. It didnt work instantly because its a slow killer, what it does is allow the roaches to eat the gel and bring it back to their ugly roach families and they eat this stuff like they eating sugar on crack. They keep coming back for more till they die, and voila after a while the whole nest dies. I have never been so passionate to write a review, and i promise if you go on this journey and get this product, you will be glad you did. I would stay up at night and watch em eat and HAHAHAHAH Got three four five laughs when i saw them starting to wiggle like they was disabled with that retarded leg stickin out. They didn't know what hit em. I would then wake up the next morning and see a bunch of em dead . now going on two months i have been roach free. I WON THE WAR finally on roach terror friggin osama been had roaches ha ha. Please comment and let me know how your experience came out with the product. I will be buying more of this product when i move away from the crappy apts im in now, i fixed my roach problem but my apts got mold, cant wait to leave here come jan 2011. Thanks for viewing

We are on our way to roach free home!!
Before 2nd May,2013: We were frustrated a lot with highly infested home. We stopped going to kitchen once the lights are off, we have droppings everywhere. We are helpless and all our previous attempts using chemical sprays were useless. We are afraid of move out as they may follow us to our new house!!
On May 2nd: I found this product on Amazon and stayed up to 2 AM reading all reviews. I cannot wait to order this product. I ordered on Friday morning from Amazon, paid an extra $9 to get it over night (I don't want to wait another week).Got it on 4th May. We were ready with our kitchen emptied by that time. We completed 3 tubes in our kitchen at 11 PM on 4th May. It took us 1.5 hours.

1) I got up at 2 AM to see hundreds are roaches playing tennis all over kitchen. Thinking that product did not work, I was disappointed, flared with anger on Amazon reviewers for lying with 5 star reviews for a junk product.

2)At 8 AM on 5th May: We found dead (or dying) cockroaches all over the place in kitchen. We had our first broom.
That's it, we had at least 10 brooms on that day, each time averaging 50 cockroaches.
3)At 6 AM on 6th May: We had another broom for 30-40 cockroaches
On 6th May, we had 3-4 brooms. Averaging 20-30 cockroaches every time.
On 6th May at 10 PM, I suddenly entered and turned on lights in my kitchen to see how many roaches are there. Guess what, I saw only 2 and they were already dying.

4) On 7th May, 7 AM: Droppings came down to 90%, we see 1 or 2 roaches here and there, but they are dying.

We named this operation as "Operation Hail Storm". We saw a real hailstorm in our kitchen this weekend.

My boyfriend and I were just on the cusp of a bad roach infestation. It was totally our own faults, as we had seen little tiny ones here and there and just assumed they would pass through; we really didn't want to kill them (we're the type who use have-a-heart traps for mice). Yeah, we were idiots. Finally it got to be every night we'd see one, and they were definitely getting bigger. I bought the Genterol Insect Growth Hormone, which basically acts as birth control for the little buggers, but by then it was too late. They had already grown up and started breeding, and the Genterol wasn't enough. One night, we came home and there were about half dozen running around the sink. One got into the silverware drawer. This was war. I bought this product based on it's great reviews, and have to add my own to say that it lives up to the hype! We applied it along the sink, under the cabinets and along the floorboards. Taking an idea I read in another review, we put dots of it on index cards and put them in the cupboards, drawers, and under the appliances. The next morning, a lot of the product had been eaten already! My boyfriend went to work, so I was alone on roach patrol. When I got up in the morning, there were about 10 roaches staggering around in the middle of the room or dead. Throughout the day, I removed about 30 roaches. Every 15 minutes or so, I'd walk into the kitchen, and there'd be one or two more on the floor! This kept up for about 2 days, and the numbers steadily dwindled. The last one I saw was about a week after we applied, crawling on the ceiling above a book shelf, and repeatedly falling. Obviously, it was poisoned too. Haven't seen one since (it's been another week)! THANK GOD FOR ADVION!Read more ›
