this hat has a piece of hard cardboard sewed inside of head band, ???
probably to maintain shape of hat, very uncomfortable to wear.
nice looking but not for wearing.

I saw on some other pages that hats from this brand/shipper would be larger than indicated, and to order a size down. Well, just in case, I ordered 3 sizes down, and there's still room for at least another 3 sizes. Upon opening the box, I popped the hat out, instinctively pulled the tags off (huge mistake), and set it on my head. There was over half an inch of space between my head and the inside rim of the hat, all around, even after I pulled the back of the hat as far down as it could go. So, I checked the return policy of the seller, hats.com, to discover that they consider a hat with no tags to be 'worn' and therefore completely unreturnable, and that since the hat is not defective by their standards I would not be reimbursed for the cost of shipping even if I could return it. My money is now gone, but I guess if I ever need a hat to wear over 2 or 3 other hats, this will fit the bill. In summary : Beautiful hat, Grossly inaccurate sizing, Terrible return policy. Approach with extreme caution.
