4.0 out of 5 stars Aerial Reconnaissance: The 10th Photo Recon Group in WWII, July 22, 2003

This review is from: Aerial Reconnaissance: The 10th Photo Recon Group in World War II (Paperback)
Tom Ivie has done his usual excellent job in chronicling the activities of a little-known unit in WWII--the photo recon pilots and ground crews. Mr. Ivie is an expert on this topic and writes with clarity and depth about the exploits of pilots who braved the skies of Europe in un-armed photographic aircraft in order to give commanders up-to-date intelligence. It is a fascinating topic.

4.0 out of 5 stars aerial reconnaissance, August 17, 2010

This review is from: Aerial Reconnaissance: The 10th Photo Recon Group in World War II (Paperback)
complete and well documented but too old edition and the photos are, in comparison with the moderner products, of poor quality. A new edition will be wellcoming.
