Great for using in the home for house guests, at slumber parties, in the camper or tent, or in dorm rooms, the AeroBed can be used on a bed or futon frame, sofa bed, box spring, or can simply rest on the floor. For ease of use, a powerful recessed pump is built right into the bed and inflates the mattress within 60 seconds after plugging it in and pressing a button. Another one-button adjustment sets the firmness of the mattress to your guest’s preference. In the morning, a patented Secure Seal quick-release valve deflates the mattress in 15 seconds. The mattress simply rolls up and fits inside a handy carrying bag for storage until the next time it’s needed.
For comfort and a smoother sleep surface, the mattress’s chamber is reinforced with durable Quadra Coils. Made of superior-strength PVC, the mattress is puncture-resistant and has electronically sealed seams, ensuring that guests won’t wake up with their bodies partially resting on the floor. The mattress’s surface is covered in 100-percent cotton for comfort in either hot or cold weather and a 100-percent cotton mattress pad (machine-washable) adds an extra layer of comfortable padding. I have used a number of different air mattresses in the past and I agree, this does not feel like your typical air mattress. The nice thing is the one-touch control that allows you to slightly adjust the firmness. As well, there are no hidden leaks that cause the bed to be completely deflated by morning. That was my biggest issue with other mattresses.

I bought the Deluxe Aerobed for my friend's kids to stay on. It inflated very quickly and deflated very easily. The kids are 6 and 8 and they jumped on the bed and there were no problems. I also tried out the bed and thought it was very comfortable when compared to other air mattresses I had slept on over the years. It didn't have the feel of a blown-up pool toy that a lot of air mattresses have. Overall, I would highly recommend the Deluxe Aerobed.

We bought the raised queen size bed three years ago to accommodate visiting relatives. Granted, it was an older model that the model offered herein. The concept was and still is great...a modern version of the venerable air mattress only without the glacial,agonizing inflation or the instability. The pump is quick and quiet and you can roll over in your sleep without that sickening man overboard feeling. BUT the problem with this product is duability. Our experience in the past year has been that the seams begin to pull apart regardless if you use it a little or a lot. We used it little and have experienced subtle, then rapid failure, culminating in relatives unexpectantly having to sleep on the couch this Christmas. Of course the warranty has expired so we have no recourse. If you like spending $200 for a year or two of sporatic use, then by all means order the AeroBed.
