5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Bed!
This bed is absolutely the most comfortable bed that I have ever owned. I was a little skeptical at first; how comfortable can an air-filled bed be... but, boy was I wrong. It is suprisingly stable. You can adjust the bed as firm or soft as you like it. Fortunely, you cannot over inflate this bed, don't be afraid to put it as firm as you wish. When I first slept in it, I...

3.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed
It has two sprung seams...any more and I will be on the floor. I had this product for little over a year. It gave me the best sleep I have had for years. I truly believe it should have lasted longer for the price.

5.0 out of 5 stars MY SECOND AERO BED, June 11, 2005
By
S. EAST "SAM" (MONTGOMERY,TX USA) - See all my reviews
I own the first original aero bed which we have used on many occasions when we have a houseful of guests. It was great but I really wanted one that was the height of a regular bed so I purchased the queen premier raised aero bed. I have slept on it for a week now just to try it out and it is wonderful. It is very comfortable and much easier to get in and out of due to the height. I like the fact that this raised bed does not have the side extentions for stabilization. They designed this bed to be stable without these. I am very happy with my purchase of this bed and can see why some people sleep on this bed as their primary bed.

2.0 out of 5 stars Just so you know, June 3, 2005
The air release valve is a very poor design and is prone to breakage. When it breaks, the bed is not useable until you replace the valve which will run about $15. Check the Aerobed FAQs for more info.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice!, December 24, 2006

Here's what I'm most excited about this bed...the free shipping. I checked what it would be to ship 1-day. Over $100. So instead, I just decided mom would get her present late and I went for the free shipping. It arrived in one day!

We checked out the bed. The cover and bedskirt feel like fleece. Different than what I thought it would be but very comfy. The bed goes up quickly. One negative is that you have to hold down the button the whole time. It's supposed to not be able to over-inflate, so I just assumed it would be push a button and it will stop when it's done. Also, the pump does not suck out the air to deflate the bed. You use a release valve, but it does take some effort on your part to get the remainder of the air out.

I was very surprised how easy it was to fold. It went into the bag very easily. It is heavy, but will be used as an extra bed in my parent's home instead of a travel bed so heaviness isn't an issue here. It would be if used for traveling. The height is great! Just like a normal bed. I recommend this bed!

5.0 out of 5 stars THE PERFECT BED !, September 7, 2005
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
THIS IS BY FAR A GREAT BED FOR GUESTS OR TRAVELING. IT INFLATES AND DEFLATES IN SECONDS. ITS EASILY STORED AWAY. I MUST SAY I HAVE A TOP OF THE LINE SERTA AND I THINK THIS IS MORE COMFORTABLE. WHEN MY GUESTS LEFT MY WIFE AND I DIDNT WANT TO PUT IT AWAY AFTER WE TRIED IT. A+++++

2.0 out of 5 stars Leaks are impossible to find, fix, June 5, 2007
This bed worked well until it started to leak, after about its tenth use. The design makes it difficult or impossible to find or fix a leak. I would not count on this bed lasting longer than one year. Four stars for function, one star for durability, no stars for fixability.

This bed was better than expected. Arrived quickly, looks like a regular bed when made, worked perfectly and felt great to sleep on. We are so pleased. The price was lowest on Amazon.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not a durable product, October 26, 2007

I have had this bed for 23 months and about only 14 days of used. It seems the material start to break down and as I am patching one leak I find another as soon as I inflate the bed. Quickly I ran out of patch material. I paid over $200 for this bed so if $15 per night of use is reasonable, it's a good bed.

2.0 out of 5 stars Developed a slow leak after the first few uses, September 6, 2007
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
We thought we'd buy this to use as a guest bed for my inlaws when they visit 5-6 times a year. After the second use, it developed a slow leak, so that they wake up in the morning kinda sunk in the middle. I can't see how we are going to be able to figure out where the leak is. It is still somewhat useable, since you can reinflate it as it goes down and it doesn't leak so much you are on the floor, but for $250, I expected it to be much better.

I should have spent the money on a futon instead.
